Every space tells a story. A chapel's frescoes were painted to be experienced from within: not behind glass, not on a screen, but from the very floor where the artist and patron stood. A Roman villa's garden paintings were meant to surround you. The scale, the light, and movement in space…these are inseparable from the art itself.
Mirror Stage builds faithful digital doubles of the world's most significant cultural environments. Using high-resolution photogrammetry and 3D scanning, we reconstruct spaces at 1:1 scale with the precision of a survey and the fidelity of a photograph, then make them inhabitable through virtual reality.
The result is a new kind of encounter. You don't view the work; you stand inside it. You look up at a vaulted ceiling and feel its height. You approach a fresco and see the brushstroke grain in the plaster. The virtual environment becomes a stage for a real experience and a space where recognition happens not through description, but through presence.
